My stay at Metro Hostel Lisbon had its ups and downs. While the kitchen was a highlight, I found the accommodation a bit cramped for the number of guests. The constant noise and limited amenities made it difficult to relax.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was quite noisy. with constant footfall from the hallway and no door to provide any privacy.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and always willing to help. they provided great tips when I had questions about the area.
Location
6.0
It's a decent location, about a 40-minute walk to the city center. though I appreciated the chance to explore the local streets.
Dining
6.0
The kitchen offered some lovely homemade biscuits. but it felt too cramped for cooking, especially when there were so many people trying to use it.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were a bit lacking. with only two toilets for over twenty-five people, and no real common area to relax in.

My stay at Metro Hostel Lisbon was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, being near the Saldanha Metro station, which made it easy for me to get around the city. However, I found the facilities lacking, especially the limited number of bathrooms for so many guests. Despite the friendly staff and clean room, the noise level was disruptive, not aligning with the advertised soundproof features. Overall, I had a decent experience but wouldn't recommend it for longer stays.

Rooms
5.4
The room was clean and had a window, which I appreciated. However, it wasn't as soundproof as advertised, making it noisy at times.
Service

The staff was mostly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which added a positive touch to my experience.
Location

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Saldanha Metro station, providing easy access to the city.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were basic, but I did enjoy the granola available for breakfast.
Facilities

With only two bathrooms for about 45 guests, getting ready was a real challenge. Also, the heat was uncomfortable as there were no fans or ventilation.

I had a mixed experience at Metro Hostel Lisbon. The location was great, being just a short walk from the metro, which made it easy to navigate the city. However, the noise at night was quite bothersome, especially with the bell ringing constantly when guests returned. The kitchen was also somewhat cramped for the number of guests.

Rooms
5.0
The upper dormitory lacks a door, so noise travels easily. This made my stay less relaxing than I'd hoped.
Service
5.0
The staff were present, but when I requested quieter behavior, their response felt dismissive. It left me feeling a bit unsupported during my stay.
Location
8.0
I really appreciated the hostel's proximity to the metro station, making it super convenient for trips to and from the airport. A definite plus.
Dining
5.0
The kitchen was alright, but definitely too small for the number of people using it. Breakfast could use improvement, and there wasn't much to choose from.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were generally clean, especially the bathrooms. However, the space was cramped, and the noise from the kitchen disrupted the vibe.

My stay at Metro Hostel Lisbon was a mixed experience. While the location was excellent with Saldanha Metro station nearby, I found the facilities lacking, especially the crowded kitchen and limited bathrooms. However, staff like Diogo were incredibly helpful, providing insights about the best places to visit in Lisbon. Overall, it was decent for independent travelers but could be improved significantly. 😅

Rooms
5.4
The room was generally clean, but the claim of soundproofing was exaggerated. I was disturbed by noise from the reception area and the kitchen.
Service
7.0
The staff, especially Diogo, were friendly and always eager to assist. However, some staff members seemed less enthusiastic.
Location
8.5
Located near Saldanha Metro station and several shops, the location was definitely a strong point of my stay.
Dining
6.0
The kitchen was too crowded, making it difficult to prepare food comfortably, but I appreciated the opportunity to meet others.
Facilities
5.0
With only two bathrooms for a large number of guests, it was challenging at times. The advertised soundproofing also did not meet expectations.

I had a decent stay at Metro Hostel Lisbon, primarily thanks to its great location and helpful staff. However, the lack of bathrooms for the number of guests can become a bit of a hassle, and my initial bed assignment didn't match my request, which was a letdown. It's a mixed bag, but overall, it was an okay experience.

Rooms
6.0
I booked a bed in an 8-bed room but was given an upper bed first, and then moved to a 10-bed room with limited space due to a table being removed. It can get a bit cramped.
Service
8.0
The staff was super helpful and very friendly during my stay, which made things much easier.
Location
9.0
The location is spot on, right near the Metro, making it easy to get around the city and even to the airport without hassle.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was pretty good, which is always a plus when you're staying in a hostel.
Facilities
5.0
There were only two toilets and showers for a lot of guests, which meant waiting in line. Plus, the heat in the top-floor room was an issue since there were no fans.
